Lynne Tanner is a New York City-born visual artist, writer, and choreographer who relocated to North Carolina in 1964. During a ten-year tenure teaching modern dance at Limestone College in SC, she formally studied painting and printmaking, launching a professional fine art career in 1980. Her multi-disciplinary work has been showcased across the region for decades, including a 50-year role as choreographer for the Rutherford County Arts Council and exhibitions at institutions across the region.
