Rare 17th century Charles II English oak tapered form joint stool featuring a 2 board top with molded edge, plain apron with a molded lower edge and a scalloped lower rail, raised on thinly turned baluster form legs, box stretcher, pegged mortise and tenon construction, nice rich old patina, circa 1700.

Condition: Losses to one corner of top, shrinkage throughout, slight warping and twisting as expected with age
